News: Sure to be better than the lame dubbed version of the movie recently seen on Fox...
Ubisoft has announced the official release of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon on the PlayStation 2 and GameBoy Advance.
Now, you can't rightly make a Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon game without the superhuman martial arts abilities witnessed in the film -- as expected, the title will indeed include those elements. Players will be able to choose from four characters featured in the movie: Li Mu Bai, Yu Shu Lien, Jen Yu and УDark CloudФ (no, not the PS2 game) Lo. The game also includes the movie's Academy and Grammy Award-winning music, featuring cellist Yo-Yo Ma.
"Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon is one of the most innovative and exciting movies in recent years, and we've dedicated ourselves to capturing the incredible look and feel that made the film such an amazing hit," said Tony Kee, vice president of marketing for Ubisoft. "With compelling characters, action-packed fighting sequences and stunning environments, the game will feature the martial arts magic of this classic film."
An Xbox version of the title is currently scheduled for a Dec. 9 release.
