Secret Weapons Over Normandy

Written by Brian Vienneau  on October 03, 2003

News: And with that, these weapons will no longer be so secret...

LucasArts has become known for its Star Wars games over the years -- and that's hardly surprising, given the name of the company. But they'll be branching out in the coming months, with Gladius. a gladiator themed RPG, and Secret Weapons Over Normandy, a World War II air combat title. And now, LucasArts has launched the official website for that game, which you can peruse to learn all you ever wanted to know about

True to its name, the game will let you fly more than 30 missions over World War II-ravaged Europe, with twenty authentic WWII aircraft available in all. Lawrence Holland is behind the game's direction -- he also created Star Wars: X-Wing, Star Wars: Tie Fighter and Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe.

Secret Weapons Over Normandy is currently scheduled for a Nov. 18 release on the PlayStation 2 and Xbox.
