News: A non-sexy ninja? Yes, they do exist in today's gaming world...
Namco has announced that the PlayStation 2 version of I-Ninja has been completed and is ready for its Nov. 18 release date. While there are several games on the horizon starring sexy female ninjas, there is certainly a dearth of cartoony male ninja games at the moment. However, I-Ninja will fill this gaming industry void.
"I-Ninja promises to make a splash on the character platform scene," said Jon Kromrey, senior producer at Namco Hometek, the company's U.S. consumer division. "Players can look forward to wall running, rail grinds, eyeball rolling, barrel running, rocket steering and more.Ф
While cartoony ninjas would seem to be a Japanese idea, I-Ninja was actually developed by U.K.-based Argonaut, who have also created the recently-released Bionicle and SWAT: Global Strike Team.
