News: Namco has spawned three versions of the Todd McFarlane-Inspired Video Game, all made available in stores earlier this week.
Namco announced that its highly-anticipated, 3rd person action-adventure, Spawn: Armageddon, has begun shipping to retail stores nationwide. Now available for the PlayStation 2, Xbox and GameCube, Spawn: Armageddon is rated M for Mature and has an MSRP of $49.99.
"Spawn: Armageddon is poised to surprise a lot of people," said Glen Cureton, Producer at Namco Hometek Inc. "This game's unique evolution of what continues to be an excellent comic book storyline into one of today's high-tech video games has been an amazing process. We have no doubt that the close working relationship between Namco Hometek Inc. and Todd McFarlane Productions has resulted in an excellent interactive representation of the Spawn: Armageddon franchise.Ф
Developed by Southern California-based Point of View, Spawn: Armageddon is a 3-D action/adventure game positioning the main character, Spawn, in a personal conflict between factions in the battle of Heaven and Hell. Players will encounter a variety of enemies through 23 challenging missions, including Cy-Gor, Violator and Redeemer. The game will also feature Spawn's many distinctive abilities including superhuman strength, hand-to-hand combat, an arsenal of weaponry, Hell Powers, and his living symbiotic costume.
