News: Eidos' "dictator-killer" sim is going next-gen.

Eidos has announced that the Avalanche Studios developed Just Cause will be available for the Xbox 360 in addition to the PS2, Xbox and PC versions.

An undercover agent is sent in to overthrow a corrupt government on an idyllic tropical island, by using whatever means necessary. As you parachute down through the clouds, high above the islands of San Esperito and admire the archipelago view, your mission begins.

Over the course of this mission Eidos has said that players will traverse an island that takes 40 minutes to cross fully. They will also be given the option of whether or not to accept over differnet missions.

Christofer Sundberg, Founder and Creative Director of Just Cause developer Avalanche Studios said, "We are proud that Just Cause will be available on Xbox 360 as well as current generation platforms. Our aim has always been to deliver a next-gen experience and with the power of Xbox 360 you are going to see something really special."

Just Cause is scheduled to ship this Fall.
