The latest issue of GamePro reveals that Activision has quietly cancelled development on Street Hoops 2, Shaun Palmer's Pro Snowboarder 2 and Trinity, a sci-fi shooter.
Both Street Hoops 2 and Shaun Palmer's Pro Snowboarder 2 were announced shortly after their respective first games were released and neither has ever been publicly displayed in any form. Shaun Palmer's Pro Snowboarder 2 would have been a PS2 exclusive and Street Hoops 2 was planned for both the PS2 and the Xbox. Money was cited as the reason for the cancellation of both.
Trinity, a futuristic First Person Shooter developed by Vicarious Visions, was scheduled for an Xbox release in late 2004. The game was announced at E3 2003 and a few screenshots even surfaced at the event. But nothing new has been revealed since then and it looks like Trinity will join that exclusive group of games that are announced and then never heard from again. Money was also cited to be the reason for Trinity's demise as well.
