News: Cinemaware picks up the critically acclaimed game for retail distribution.
Darwinia, the hybrid "strategy, retro arcade action, God game" from Introversion, has been picked up for North American retail distribution by Cinemaware.
The game was originally released by Introversion online by download only and then later through Valve's Steam service. Before this it had become the poster child for digital distribution of games.
It has also racked up mountains of good press and an armful of awards including three 2006 Independent Games Festival Awards.

Cinemaware plans to release the game in America this June for $29.99. It will come in a bonus pack that will include a poster and a collectible figurine.
