News: SNK has pledged to support the Wii and the DS "because the fans asked for it."

SNK Playmore announced today they will be supporting Nintendo's Wii and the Nintendo DS very soon.

The first title in development for the Wii will be Metal Slug Anthology, a compilation containing every game in the arcade series (Metal Slug 1-5 and Metal Slug X) along with "many additional surprises."

The DS will also get some SNK love sometime in the future as SNK Vs Capcom: Card Fighters DS is being developed for the handheld.

We will have details (and release dates) for both of these games very soon.
