News: Maybe they were banned from E3 after all...

Yesterday, we reported on the possible banning of Naughty America: The Game from this year's E3.

Afterwards, I was contacted by Wayne Teats, the PR representative for Naughty America: The Game. He informed me that Naughty America did contact the E3 organizers about setting up a meeting space (not an exhibitor booth) and that they were denied due to adult content.

He forwarded the following quote from Linda Clinton of E3:

"I actually spoke with a representative from Naughty America quite some time ago and after discussing their product offerings it was determined they do not qualify to participate as adult content is prohibited at E3Expo."

He also mentioned that Noah Dudley, the head of Naughty America developer Eight Legs, "was not directly involved in the E3 process". If you recall, Mr. Dudley was the man who said Eight Legs never attempted to secure a booth at E3 because they knew they'd be banned.

So it looks like it's a he said/she said problem (with both sides being part of the same company). It's possible that after the "tone down the booth babes" edict, E3 didn't want any games based solely on sex on the show floor. But I guess the world will never know. In previous years, similar sex-styled games Playboy: The Mansion, Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude and Singles: Flirt Up Your Life have all appeared on the show floor.

But if you must know what this game is all about, I suggest you check out the (very NOT SAFE FOR WORK) offical site.
