News: Atari is bringing their racing revolution to the PS2 and PSP.
Hours after announcing their E3 lineup, Atari has revealed that Test Drive Unlimited is also coming to the PS2 and PSP.
The ports are being handled by Atari Melbourne House and according to Atari they will include most of the functionality of the next-gen Xbox 360 and PC versions.
The PS2 version will have roughly the same "server-based online play, over 70 luxury supercars, multiplayer and single-player modes, player-created races, car upgrades and downloadable content and endless miles of streaming Hawaiian roads."
The PSP version will include a single-player Arcade Mode for "snack-sized play" and sport one of the first server-based online modes for a PSP game.
"Test Drive Unlimited is a revolution in the racing genre, and to bring all of this to the PlayStation 2 and PSP systems alongside Xbox 360 and PC is a powerful offering," said Rick Mehler, Director of Marketing, Atari, Inc. "Test Drive Unlimited's unprecedented features and luxurious lifestyle feel will blow players away."
All four versions of Test Drive Unlimited will ship in the Fall.
