News: Konami's First Person Shooter series returns.
Konami has announced that the Coded Arms series will be making a return in 2007.
Coded Arms: Contagion brings the fight inside the computer back to the PSP and will offer eight player wireless options.
Konami also has some stroyline details:
As a lone security agent, players will return to A.I.D.A., a virtual reality military training program, to prevent cyber-terrorists from taking control of the program and gaining access to classified military information. Across a variety of enclosed and open-air levels, players will take on original enemies with an all-new selection of firearms and explosives that lets them counter the terrorist menace with more firepower than ever before.
On the other hand, Coded Arms: Assault brings the series to the next-generation of gaming consoles when it debuts on the PS3.
Assault is being built with the Unreal Engine 3 and will offer 16 player online deathmatching. And in a nice move, the game's entire story campaign can be played online by up to four people cooperatively.
One again, both titles are scheduled to ship sometime in 2007. We'll have more soon.
