News: PSP demo downloads coming in full force?
Those PSP-owning folks with a wireless connection can hit up their network update function this morning and bring their portable to firmware 2.71. The update itself is very minor in terms of volume; a slight tweak to the Location Free Player, and the ability to download demos directly to your PSP's memory stick.
Hmm.
As of now only a demo for Loco Roco exists (and you have to manually get it on your system, not even mentioning it's in Japanese), but perhaps this is a signal that Sony is planning on rolling out even more demos - the process needed to be simplfied.
The update currently is only available via the PSP itself, though it should be up on Sony's official site sooner rather than later.
