News: Jack Black's Mexican wrestling opus is being turned into a game by Majesco.
Majesco has just announced they are bringing the Mexican wrestling action of Nacho Libre to the DS this October.
The movie will be in theaters tomorrow and features Jack Black as Nacho, a cook by day, but a luchador (Mexican wrestler) by night.
The game is in development at Budcat Creations (the guys that tag-teamed with Double Fine on the PS2 port of Psychonauts) and will be probably be released alongside the movie's DVD release.
Nacho Libre will be the first wrestling game to tackle the DS and will feature 11 playable luchadors (including Nacho), all with their own unique abilities. The game will also feature something called a "photo puppetry" visual style, all the crazy wrestling antics players have come to expect, Touch Screen mini-games and 4 player wireless matches.
Muy bien.
