News: The Street has left behind current-gen consoles.

EA has announced that NBA Street 4 is coming to the PS3 and Xbox 360 in the Spring of 2007.

The fourth NBA Street is once again being developed by EA Canada and will use the next-gen systems to create a bigger world than previously seen in the series.

NBA Street 4 will feature a "seamles city of streetball moments" as players will attempt to work their way up through the hometown courts of NBA greats and then move on to the legendary courts of the streetball scene.

"Since its unveiling in 2001, NBA Street has always raised the bar with innovative gameplay and fresh visuals," said Wil Mozell, executive producer on the project. "The power of the Next Generation hardware gives us the horsepower to break new ground for consumers, making it the perfect stage for the next iteration of NBA Street. Casual gamers and sports fans can still expect 'easy to pick-up and difficult to master' gameplay, with progressive visuals and some of the biggest gameplay moments in action sports."

We'll have more on NBA Street 4 soon.
