News: A new demonstration shows off the beefy specs of Insomniac's FPS.
Insomniac recently showed off their first PS3 offering, Resistance: Fall of Man, at a New York gathering. And according to MTV News, a few rather impressive bits of imformation have emerged from this shindig:
The game will occupy 22 GB of Blu-Ray disc space. A spokesman for Insomniac, Ryan Schneider, specified that "the music and vocals in Resistance take up only about 1 Gigabyte of disc space, graphics, level data and programming code occupy most of the remaining 21."
While this number is meaningless out of context, it appears that developers are well on their way to filling the 50 gigs of double-sided BD-ROM.
40-player online matches
60 levels of player progression while playing online
two-player offline co-op
Shake off enemies and use your gun as a club with the tilt controller.
"Better, deeper support than any Xbox Live launch title."
