News: Xbox Live Arcade Unplugged is set to arrive September 5.

After much speculation and rumors, Microsoft has announced that a retail compilation of Xbox Live Arcade titles will be appearing in store on September 5. Xbox Live Arcade Unplugged Volume 1 is scheduled to ship September 5 for a retail price of $39.99.

The pack will include a free month of Xbox Live Gold and will include the following games:

  • Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved
  • Wik: Fable of Souls
  • Outpost Kaloki X
  • Bejeweled 2 Deluxe
  • Hardwood Backgammon
  • Texas Hold 'em

For those scoring at home, those titles would cost 4,000 Microsoft Points (or $50) to download from the XBLA.

Micorsoft is also throwing demos of Uno, Marble Blast Ultra and Feeding Frenzy onto the disc.

If you're without an Internet connection to your 360 or haven't purchased any of these games, the Live Unplugged looks like a pretty good deal.
