News: Your wallet is going to be hurting after this game heavy launch is over.
At Nintendo's press conference, Reggie revealed that the Wii would launch with 25-30 games between November 19 and the end of 2006. And we've uncovered the list.
It's been stated that the following games will be available on day one:
Avatar: The Last Airbender
Barnyard
Blazing Angels: Squadrons of World War II
Call of Duty 3
Cars
Chicken Little: Ace in Action
Excite Truck
Far Cry: Vengeance
GT Pro Series

Monster 4x4: World Circuit
Need for Speed Carbon
Open Season
Prince of Persia

Red Steel
SpongeBob SquarePants: Creature from the Krusty Krab
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Double Agent
Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam
Trauma Center: Second Opinion
Wii Sports
Which means that the following games will make up the rest of the Wii launch in the rest of 2006:
Dragon Ball Z Budokai: Tenkaichi 2
Elebits
Happy Feet
Ice Age 2: The Meltdown
Metal Slug Anthology
Rapala Tournament Fishing
Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz
The Ant Bully
The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy
World Series of Poker
Those titles will be followed up by the following games in early 2007:
Bust-A-Move Revolution
Dance Factory
Meet the Robinsons
Mortal Kombat: Armageddon
Rampage: Total Destruction
Sidewinder
Sonic and the Secret Rings
SSX
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
The Godfather
Tiger Woods PGA Tour
It's important to note that none of these lists includes former "confirmed for day one titles" Dragon Quest Swords, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles and Blitz The League. Their ommission from the press conference most likely means they have been delayed.
Finally, Nintendo has topped off this avalanche of Wii titles with the announcement that a Wii version of Big Brain Academy is in the works.
