Microsoft has announced that the first wave of Platnium Hits titles for the Xbox 360 will land in stores October 15. You'll be able to
pick up Kameo: Elements of Power, Need for Speed: Most Wanted Perfect Dark Zero or Project Gotham Racing 3 for the budget price of $30 (up from $20 for Xbox Platinum Hits titles).
It should be noted that many game retailers have already dropped the price on Kameo and Perfect Dark Zero to $30 or less.
"The Platinum Hits program allows existing gamers and new gamers alike to have access to great games at a great price,Ф said Mitch Koch, corporate vice president of Worldwide Retail Sales for the Interactive Entertainment Business. УXbox 360 will have a ten million unit head start by the end of 2006, and there will be plenty of new console owners eager to jump in to the best-selling Xbox 360 games."
Microsoft also said the second wave of Platinum Hits games will approve in Spring 2007.
