News: Activision CEO: "Guitar Hero will appear on every significant new format."
Eurogamer is reporting that Activision CEO Robert Kotick has confirmed Guitar Hero will be rocking out on more consoles in 2007.
Speaking at the Goldman Sachs Communacopia XV Conference, Kotick was quoted as saying "Guitar Hero will appear on every significant new format in 2007". Executives from developer RedOctane previously revealed that specialized Guitar Hero "add-on packs" were in the planning stages but never specified which platform they'd appear on.
For those that can't wait until 2007, Guitar Hero II is still on track for a November release on the PS2.
