News: All PlayStation 3, all the time.
With the launch of the PS3 less than two months away now, Sony is finally rolling out with some welcome news on a steady basis. For example, check out what the Krazy Ken's employer has announced at the Tokyo Game Show:
First, they've enlisted Media Molecule, the company behind the addicting Steam title Rag Doll Kung-Fu, to create a game for the PS3. The game has no title, no release date and no major details were revealed. But it exists, we know that much.
Meanwhile, Sony has enlisted Dragon Quest VIII developers Level 5 to create White Knight for the PS3. Little is known about the RPG, but it involves a princess-in-danger and a battle between an army dressed in black and the mythical White Knights. But knowing Level 5, it'll have lots of style.
Finally, Sony has revealed a partial PS3 launch list for Japan. Day one titles include:
Genji: Days of the Blade
Mah-Jong Fight Club Online
Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire
Resistance: Fall of Man
Ridge Racer 7
Sega Golf Club
And the rest of 2006 looks like this:
Enchanted Arms
F1 Championship
Fatal Inertia
Gran Turismo HD
MotorStorm
Need for Speed Carbon
Railfan
Sonic the Hedgehog
The American launch should be much more hefty as both EA and Activision have pledged to have multiple titles available in the PS3 launch window.
