News: From IR Gurus, the makers of Heroes of the Pacific.
Codemasters has announced they've teamed up with IR Gurus, the development team behind Heroes of the Pacific, to bring the aerial combat game Heatseeker to the Wii, PS2 and PSP.
Heatseeker will feature a variety of planes, including the F-22 Raptor, the F-15 Eagle, the F35 Lightening II, and the Russian SU-47 Berkut. These predators of the sky will battle it out in missions across the US, Caribbean, the Antarctic and the Far East.
Ben Palmer, the Executive Producer at IR Gurus said, УThe Heroes air combat engine is being advanced and getting armed to the teeth with the latest military hardware. It's set in a realistic now-time world, that's cohesive and believable, but the speed of play will feel like lightning.Ф
The game will also include the Impact Cam, a way to follow your missiles from launch to target.
We also have the first batch of screens, including 10 from the PS2 version and one from the Wii version.
Heatseeker is currently scheduled to ship in early 2007.
