News: Oblivion for the PS3 and a handful of Xbox 360 titles have new dates.



More major releases have gotten boot to new dates on ye old release calendar.

First, it appears that The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion will not make the PS3 launch. Instead, it is now scheduled for an early 2007 release. Persistant rumors (and unconfirmed EBGames and GameStop listings) place the PS3 version F.E.A.R. in early 2007 as well.

Meanwhile, on the Xbox 360 side of the next-gen coin, a handful of games are now slated to ship in Spring and/or Summer of 2007.

In an MTV interview, Xbox guru Peter Moore has confirmed Crackdown, Forza Motorsport 2, Shadowrun and Too Human will all be appearing stores shelves by June of next year. The four games will be released throughout the Spring and early Summer, although final release dates have yet to be revealed.

We'll keep you posted on more shifting release dates as we hear about them.
