News: And its only coming to the PlayStation 2.
EA has revealed the first details on their MVP Baseball game, due in February exclusively for the PS2.
MVP 07 NCAA Baseball will feature Los Angeles Angels Rookie of the Year finalist Jered Weaver on the cover and will once again be developed by EA Canada. It will include all of the traditional trappings of an NCAA game, including cheerleaders, crowd chants, and team fight songs as well as play-by-play from ESPN announcers Mike Patrick and Kyle Peterson. The ESPN connection will also include real time ESPN ticker and ESPN Sportscenter radio updates for those that their PS2s hooked up to a Network Adapter.
EA also plans to add "Rock and Fire Pitching" to MVP 07, which they describe like this: "Rock and Fire pitching gives you ultimate control and increased feel to more realistically emulate the real life presence of stepping onto the mound, winding up and delivering the ultimate pitch."
Finally, EA plans to roll out the catch-all of "more stuff" to MVP 07 by including "an increased number of conferences, teams and authentic stadiums."
We'll have more on MVP 07 NCAA Baseball soon.
