News: Nobody messes with the Blackhand.
EA spent the morning talking about The Godfather as they have announced the game will be coming to the PS3 this March along with the previously announced Wii version.
The Wii version of the game will be known as The Godfather: Blackhand Edition and it will offer "motion-based Blackhand Control" through the Wiimote and Nunchuk. According to EA, players will be able to gesture with the Wiimote "to really beat down your opposition" and they then can point at the screen and take aim with "pinpoint firearm accuracy."
Meanwhile, the PS3 will be receiving the extended cut of The Godfather as The Don's Edition includes all of the content found in The Corleone Expansion Pack including the ability to "take down two additional revised compounds of rival Families, execute five new contract hits, and call in larger Corleone Hit Squads when the going gets tough." The Don's Edition will also include new transportation hubs with the Shipyard and the Rail Yard along with Sixaxis motion control. EA says players that "manhandle [their] controller" will "manhandle [their] opponent."
Once again, these new entries in The Godfather saga will be available in March. We'll have more soon.
