Blizzard has passed along word that 2.4 million copies of World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade were sold on the game's first day of availability. Blizzard says this makes Burning Crusade the fastest selling PC game ever in North America and Europe.
Blizzard shipped more than 4 million copies of Burning Crusade to North America, Europe, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Australia and New Zealand. According to the WoW servers, 1.7 million players have already cracked open the Burning Crusade box and logged in to the new expansion.
