News: TMNT... Turtle Power!
Microsoft has announced that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade game will be coming to the Xbox Live Arcade this Wednesday. The first arcade adventure of Leonardo, Donatello, Michaelangelo and Raphael can be your for 400 Microsoft Points ($5).
The game will include the typical Live Arcade enhancements (voice support, 4-player cooperative mode over Xbox Live and leaderboards) along with Achievements. I find it a little worrisome that Microsoft only states multiplayer will be over Xbox Live. I guess we'll find out Wednesday if local multiplayer is supported.
This addition to the XBLA is not exactly surprising as it seems to be timed to the new CGI Turtles movie that opens this Friday. It's also interesting to note that it was not on Microsoft's list of the next ten XBLA releases, so we may be in for a few more deviations from that list.
