News: Microsoft and Capcom sitting in a tree... C-R-Y-I-N-G.

A press release out of Capcom Japan confirms what we've all suspected for months: Devil May Cry 4 is coming to the Xbox 360.

Dante's (er, Nero's) next adventure will now touch down on the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC in an "Undecided" time. Capcom didn't reveal anything new about the game except to say that the game would appear on both consoles at the same time: "Devil May Cry 4 will be released simultaneously for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms."

We'll have more on this huge announcement soon.

UPDATE: Capcom USA has now commented on this DMC4 news:

УCapcom is committed to making its titles available to as wide an audience as possible, and has been building its technology base to meet that goal,Ф said Mark Beaumont, executive vice president, officer and head of Capcom consumer software publishing in the Americas and Europe. УThis announcement means that PS3, Xbox 360 and PC owners worldwide will be able to experience the latest installment of one of Capcom's pillar franchises.Ф
