News: Lightning McQueen and pals will race the Mater-National this fall.



THQ has announced they are devloping a video game sequel to Disney-Pixar's popular animated feature Cars. The game, Cars Mater-National, will be coming to the PS2, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, DS and GBA this Fall.

Cars Mater-National will be a new adventure set in Radiator Springs as a new set of characters gears up for the First Annual Mater-National Race Festival and a chance to challenge Lightning McQueen. In addition to these new characters THQ has said the game will include "new tracks, mini-games and more than 10 multiplayer games."

Cars Mater-National is being developed by THQ's resident racing experts, Rainbow Studios.
