News: Capcom is bringing the world's greatest lawyer to the video game world.
Capcom has announced they will be publishing a game based on the Adult Swim favorite Harvey Birdman this Fall. The game, currently known as Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law, will be coming to the PS2 and PSP. Capcom has tapped High Voltage Software (makers of Family Guy) for development duties.
Harvey Birdman follows the courtroom exploits of Birdman, a Hanna-Barbera superhero from the 60s. Birdman, first name Harvey, has given up his life of costumed crimefighting for a different kind of justice: defending other classic Hanna-Barbera characters against heinous charges like racketeering (Fred Flintstone), possession of marijuana (Shaggy and Scooby) and possession of steroids (Grape Ape).
Midway had previously revealed they were working on a Harvey Birdman game in 2005, but with Capcom's announcement today that deal has apparently fallen through.
No details were revealed about this Harvey Birdman game, but we'll keep you posted when we learn more.
