News: Everyone's favorite paper-thin rapping dog in back.
Sony has announced they are bringing the PSP remake of PaRappa the Rapper to American PSPs this July. The PSP version will include all of the characters, levels and songs from the original. The beloved music (from Masaya Matsuura) and art style (from New York artist Rodney Greenblat) will also be untouched.
The portable PaRappa the Rapper will also include several PSP-exclusive features. Players will be able to take part in four-player rap battles over ad-hoc and wirelessly share a demo level through Game Share. The PSP's Infrastructure Mode will also have eight playable remixes available for download.
"Bringing PaRappa The Rapper to PSP allows true PlayStation fans to re- connect with this timeless classic," said John Koller, Senior Marketing Manager, Sony Computer Entertainment America. "This also introduces the beloved PaRappa and his cast of colorful friends to a new generation of fans and potential hip-hop stars on the move."
We'll have on PaRappa the Rapper soon.
