News: Supreme Commander developer is working on an unnamed project for Sega.

Sega and developer Gas Powered Games (who gave us Supreme Commander in February) have announced they are working together on a new role playing game for the PC.

УSega is continuing its march forward in building a strong western developed portfolio of games,Ф said Simon Jeffery, President and COO, Sega of America, Inc. УPartnering with well established and visionary game creators such as Chris Taylor and his talented group at Gas Powered Games aligns perfectly with our strategy.Ф

This collaboration has no title and no release date and neither Sega nor Gas Powered Games felt like revealing any more about the game.

УWe are excited to be part of SEGA's western development strategy,Ф said Chris Taylor, Creative Director and CEO of Gas Powered Games. УOur focus at Gas Powered Games is to create exciting and visually stunning new worlds coupled with revolutionary game play experiences and we see SEGA as the perfect partner in achieving that goal for our next original RPG.Ф

We'll have more on this team up soon.
