News: More Jackassery for the video game world.

Sony will be bringing Pain to the PlayStation Network sometime in the near future and they want us all to laugh because of it. You see, Pain is a "comedy game" based on the exaggerated stunts of the Jackass crew.

In Pain, players will load a hapless idiot into a giant slingshot and send him flying into the world. After he goes airborne, the unique physics-controlled environment will take over as our human cannonball bounces off buildings, people, vehicles and other environmental hazards. If the player is lucky, our idiot will string together a series of painful pratfalls that are worth big points asp layers will advance through the game by performing specific tasks and scoring points.

Pain will also feature an online community aspect where players will be able to record their most painful experiences and upload them to the PSN. Their, other Pain players will be able to vote and comment on the best clips.

Pain was created after an "extensive teen market research report," so expect plenty of low brow humor and stuff that you know is wrong, but still find funny anyway. Ah, teenagers.

We'll have more on Pain soon.
