News: Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox, Peter Cullen and Frank Welker to make the game more authentic.

Activision has announced they're bringing the stars of this summer's Transformers movie to the game based on the film. Well, they're bringing their voices anyway. This ties the film, directed by Michael Bay, director of other films like Armageddon and Pearl Harbor, and the upcoming game closer together.

Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox and Peter Cullen (Optimus Prime) will reprise their roles for the game. Frank Welker, the original voice of Megatron, will also be on hand to lend the Decepticon leader that authentic sense of menace.

?Transformers is an incredible franchise with huge global appeal and our goal is to present a game that speaks to fans of the upcoming movie as well as to G1 fans,? said Laird Malamed, head of production, Activision, Inc. ?We have a fantastic line-up that includes original talent from the animated TV series and the upcoming film, bringing together the best of both worlds.?

Tranformers should be available in July.
