News: Real samurais on your Xbox 360.
Majesco has announced they are bringing Kengo: Legend of the 9, a story of the samurai in feudal Japan, to the Xbox 360 this fall. Kengo will be Majesco's first foray onto the Xbox platform since the failure of Advent Rising and Psychonauts nearly bankrupt the company.
Kengo is being developed by Genki and it features nine real samurai warriors, each with their own quest. The game will feature three other modes in addition to the main storyline including:
Mission Mode: Challenges players to complete 10 missions within a specific time frame;
Combat Mode: Features two-player, head-to-head battles;
Xbox Live Leaderboard: Players compete for new equipment and the best ranking against other Xbox Live gamers by pitting AI profiles against each other.
"Kengo's stunning high definition graphics bring the game's nine real samurai to life," said Ken Gold, vice president of Marketing, Majesco. "With its 2-player head-to-head mode, attribute upgrades and fighter customization, Kengo: Legend of the 9 offers a great deal of next generation gameplay at a fraction of the price."
Like most of Majesco's offerings, Kengo will retail for a budget price of $39.99 when it ships in the fall. We'll have more soon.
