News: First details on the dynamic weather system of Project Gotham Racing 4.

Weather will play an important role in this fall's Project Gotham Racing 4 for the Xbox 360.

According to Microsoft, the game will include a dynamic weather system that will use physics to create snow, rain and other hazardous conditions. It will then realistically whip around the screen affecting how players drift and drive amongst the precipitation.

These weather effects will be very noticeable in wintry locales like Nurburgring, Quebec and St. Petersburg (3 of the 10 cities featured in PGR4).

We've also learned about seven new cars that fill out the PGR4 garage. They are:

  • '62 Ferrari 250 GTO
  • '67 Toyota 2000GT
  • '78 Lamborghini Countach LP400
  • '98 Subaru Impreza 22B STi
  • С04 BMW M5
  • '07 Ruf RGT 997
  • '07 Lotus GT3RR

We'll have more on Project Gotham Racing 4 soon.
