News: 2K puts their own cover athlete in the spotlight before the draft.
2K Games has announced that Ohio State Center (and future top pick in this week's NBA Draft) Greg Oden will grace the cover of College Hoops 2K8. The game, which is coming to the PS2, PS3 and Xbox 360, is currently scheduled for a fall release.
"It's a great thrill to be selected as the cover athlete for College Hoops 2K8," said Greg Oden. "2K Sports is all about bringing the most authentic and entertaining sports gaming experience and it's a great privilege to be the official spokesman for the best college basketball game coming out this year."
The guys at Visual Concepts plan to give their game the annual spit and polish with College Hoops 2K8 receiving "advanced next generation visuals and hundreds of new animations" along with an "all new crowd atmosphere that can affect the game performance of teams."
