Trivia: Donkey Kong Country (SNES)


  • Cranky Kong claims to be the original "Donkey Kong" from the 1981 arcade game.

  • As part of the game's marketing effort, a VHS tape entitled "Donkey Kong Country: Exposed" was sent to Nintendo Power subscribers. It showed footage from the game and behind-the-scenes footage of the deveopment process including the game's computer modeling process. The video ended with the unveiling/pseudo-announcement of Killer Instinct for the Super NES.
