News: Eleven updated retro titles come to Sony's portable.
Atari will bring 11 updated classics, including Asteroids, Super Breakout and Pong, to the PlayStation Portable this fall with Atari Classics Evolved. The games will boast their original gameplay, but sport Уbeautifully rendered up-to-date graphics,Ф according to today's announcement. In addition to the graphically evolved versions, each of the titles will be presented in their original form.
These eleven games will feature online leaderboards and ad-hoc multiplayer:
- Asteroids
- Asteroids Deluxe
- Battlezone
- Centipede
- Lunar Lander
- Millipede
- Missile Command
- Super Breakout
- Tempest
- Warlords
- Pong
Additionally, more than 60 other Atari 2600 titles will be playable in their original form, like Yar's Revenge, Night Driver, Canyon Bomber and Crystal Castles.
This Atari-published title is being developed by Stainless Games and for fall 2007.
