News: Microsoft advertises game in latest Xbox Flash newsletter.
The Fall 2007 issue of Microsoft's Xbox Live Marketplace email newsletter from their Xbox Flash service reveals that Infinite Interactive's Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords is nearing a release date.
The newsletter, which typically highlights recently released games or games coming within the next few weeks, has pegged the D3 published Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords with a price of 1200 Microsoft Points. This makes it one of the steeper Xbox Live Arcade offerings, but it is still priced well below the previously released PSP or DS versions.
Other game's highlighted in this issue of the newsletter include Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix (which was released three weeks ago) and Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (which was released last week). Following the link in the newsletter to the
game's profile page at Xbox.com reveals that the official release date is "To Be Determined" and the price is unannounced.
It looks like Microsoft may have let the cat out of the bag a little early.
We'll have more on Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords when we learn the official release date, but my money's on next week.
