News: Evolution Studios is now part of the Sony empire.



Sony has announced they have added two new game development houses to their growing stable of studios at Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios. MotorStorm developer Evolution Studios and their subisdary company, BigBig Studios are now part of the Sony family.



Along with the announcement of the purchase, Sony has confirmed that Evolution is hard at work on MotorStorm 2, which should ship sometime in 2008. In the meantime, the company is also working on new downloadable content for the original MotorStorm.

Sony also confirmed the next project from BigBig Studios. They are currently working on the PSP title Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice, which should be out by the end of the year. A PS2 version is also in works for a release in early 2008.
