News: The Katamari series will be making its way to PS3 soon.
Katamari is coming to PlayStation 3, but it won't be rolling onto the system the same way as next month's Xbox 360 game. Previous announcements of Beautiful Katamari being a 360-exclusive have been tangled up in a lot of speculation recently, with the PS3 version being listed on Namco Bandai's website.
Jun Morikawa, the game's director, said that Beautiful Katamari will not head to PS3, according to 1UP. However, the series will be making its way to the console soon. This could be an all-new game in the Katamari series or a remake of Beautiful Katamari with some added extras - whatever happens the Katamari games are never very different anyway.
