News: Prepare for Payback on the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
Activision has announced they will be bringing Soldier of Fortune: Payback to the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 this November.
Payback brings back the body part based "enemy damage system" that the Soldier of Fortune series is known for. It also includes an arsenal of over 30 weapons including "sub-machine guns, assault rifles, sniper rifles, projectile explosives, weapon attachments and cutting-edge tactical weapons."
According to Activision, "the storyline reflects today's trend of УoutsourcingФ wars. When a routine escort mission goes horribly wrong, freelance mercenary Thomas Mason finds himself battling an insidious enemy that knows no boundaries. Traditional armies can not handle these extremists Ц only underground guns for hire can fight a war this dirty and get results."
Payback will also include tons of online options including Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Elimination, Team Elimination, Capture the Flag, and Demolition.
