News: Fighter's Stronghold available on PC and Xbox 360 next week.
Assumedly busy working away on Fallout 3, it was safe to assume Bethesda Softworks had left its next-gen hit The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion to have a well earned rest. Not so, it would seem, as today Bethesda has announced the sixth Ц and final Ц piece of downloadable content for the game, Fighter's Stronghold.
The new downloadable content will be available on Monday October 15 on PC and Xbox 360 and, unlike previous downloadable content, it will be available free of charge for the first week.
According to the
Bethesda Blog СFighter's Stronghold provides the last of four themed domiciles (along with Vile Lair, Thieves Den, and Wizard's Tower) for the adventurer on-the-go. You inherit the rights to Battlehorn Castle, located on a lovely stretch of the Colovian Highlands, west of Chorrol. Dining Hall, barracks, wine cellar, training room, and your own private Shrine of Julianos. Update your castle furnishings, perhaps even a Dwemer Forge for the aspiring Armorer? Hire a taxidermist to tastfully decorate your new abode with trophies from your adventuring.'
If you don't already have Oblivion (god why?!) now's a great time to get it Ц the Game of the Year edition was out last week on the 360 and is coming to PS3 next week. More info on Fighter's Stronghold can be found
