News: Capcom Gamer's Day is in full swing
Games Radar has a man on the scene at the Capcom Gamer's Day in London and they've got some big scoops coming from the house that Mega Man built.
First things first, the major news is that
Street Fighter 4 is in development. No platforms were announced and the game is said to still be at least a year away, but a trailer was shown and it will surely find it's way onto the Internet shortly.
Next on the docket is another fourth edition of a favorite series, Phoneix Wright 4. Although Games Radar is reporting that Phoenix Wright will not be the star (but he'll make a cameo) and the game will instead be known as
Ace Attorney: Apollo Justice. It will be the first game in the series designed specifically for the DS.
Capcom is also venturing into new territory with the announcement of
Dark Void. The game seems to take some inspiration from the movie
The Rocketeer as a steampunk-styled character flies around in a jetpack.
The company also confirmed that the long suspected port of
Lost Planet for the PS3 is in production. It will ship in early 2008 and feature all of the bonus content from the PC version and all of the downloadable content from the Xbox 360 version.
Finally, Capcom has confirmed that
Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix for the Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network has been pushed back to 2008 while they work out the online lag issues.
Sadly, the Games Radar report featured no mention of Dead Rising 2, but we can still hope it's coming as we'll have more from Capcom's Gamer's Day soon.
