Ubisoft announced that
Assassin's Creed has gone gold today and is on track to launch in North America on November 13, 2007.
The "gold" status, which means production of a game has ended and its release is imminent, applies to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game. A PC version of the game is expected in early 2008 along with a Nintendo DS edition.
Assassin's Creed will be made available in two forms when it releases in three weeks. In addition to the typical $60 SKU, a Limited Edition version can be had for $70. Further adding value to the game, GameStop pre-ordered copies come with an exclusive
Assassin's Creed art book bonus.
Expect a full review of the hotly anticipated Ubisoft game when it releases on Tuesday, November 13.
