News: EA waves the starting flag.
EA has announced that Burnout Paradise will be released on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on January 22. While not the first Burnout title to appear on a next-generation system (Burnout Revenge was ported to the Xbox 360), it will be the first game in the series to be built from the ground up for the Xbox 360 and PS3.
EA has also announced that gamers will get their first taste of Paradise City when a demo for the game appears on Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network this December.
Alex Ward, Creative Director at EA Criterion says, УThe Burnout series has always been about reinvention. Burnout Paradise does exactly that. This is the definitive Burnout experience because Paradise removes all restrictions, breaks all the rules and puts the control in your hands. We're taking risks with Paradise but we believe that every iteration of Burnout stands on its own and we feel Paradise is the best Burnout yet.Ф
