News: Team Rainbow making a return very soonЕ in March next year, in fact.

It's hard not to be excited right now... Ubisoft has just announced that it is developing Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2 for next-generation consoles and PC. This is a sequel to the award-winning Rainbow Six Vegas, which took the gaming community by storm when it was released in 2006. Developed by Ubisoft Montreal, the team that brought you Rainbow Six Vegas, the sixth game in the series will be released in March 2008.

УTom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas took the gaming world by storm in 2006 thanks to its technological advances and gameplay innovations,Ф said Yves Guillemot, president and Chief Executive Officer at Ubisoft. УWe are convinced that Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2 will remain a pioneer in the highly competitive first person shooter genre, bringing more of what Rainbow Six fans love to the table.Ф

The sequel will push the franchise to new heights with new gameplay features, better graphics and tactical possibilities in the solo campaign. The online multiplayer will also apparently add new co-op and adversarial modes. Keep a close eye on this space, in a game we're very interested in finding out more about.
