News: Wild Earth: African Safari, the only picture-taking sim on the Wii.

While we don't know what's up with Afrika for the PlayStation 3, Majesco has announced they will be bringing Wild Earth: African Safari to the Wii next Spring.

Wild Earth: African Safari is being developed by Super X Studios and it will place players in the shoes of a wildlife photographer in Serengeti National Park. Players will be able to snap pictures of over 30 animals including hyenas and rhinos.

The Wii Remote will be your camera and it will feature an Impact Meter that will rumble the Remote if you disturb the animal or get too close. I would guess the game will not turn into "When Animals Attack" if players do this to a lion.

Wild Earth: African Safari will include a multiplayer mode where up to three players can drive the truck or take the pictures. A Safari Mini-Game mode will also be including allowing players to take on the role of the animals by making gestures with the Wii Remote.

While I'm sure Majesco has Wild Earth: African Safari planned as a family title, I can just picture a bunch of crazy college kids pretending to be elephants in their dorm.

We'll have more soon.
