News: House-building sim comes to the Wii. Your parents are thrilled.
Majesco continues in their attempt to bring quirky, unique titles to the Wii with the announcement of Our House. The game will be developed by Budcat Creations (makers of the PS2 version of Guitar Hero III) for a late 2008 release.
Our House takes the words "house-building sim" to the next level by giving players the ability to "design, build and decorate their own personalized trophy home they can share with others in an online neighborhood."
The idea behind the game is a true start-to-finish dream for fans of such home design shows as "Curb Appeal," "Dream House" and "My House Is Worth What?" Players will have to buy the raw materials for their house from the Home Store and then thye "use the Wii Remote to hammer, saw, paint, tile and much more as they assemble and decorate their family dwelling." Outdoor upgrades and landscaping will add the final touch to their house.
After players have built their dream home, they can take it online in Neighborhood Mode and build online communities (literally) with their friends. Finally, a four-player "Build-Off" mode will be included for the competitor in all of us.
