News: Another Naruto game for Nintendo's handheld.

D3 Publisher has announced their next Naruto game for the DS, Naruto: Ninja Destiny, will be released this February.

Naruto: Ninja Destiny will be a 3D head-to-head fighting game, a first for the series on the DS. The top screen will be used for the action, while the bottom screen will store powerups players can use in battle. Ninja Destiny will also include 16 playable characters and a wireless Versus Mode.

"We've listened to the fans and made a slew of improvements to the Japanese original, including a much faster frame rate, additional characters, and never-before-seen content," said Laura Yoshioka, director, consumer software of Tomy Corporation. "Through the innovative use of the dual displays and touch screens, Naruto: Ninja Destiny will bring the series' iconic battles to players in a way that is only possible on the DS."

We'll have more on Naruto: Ninja Destiny soon.
